Chapter 49: The Growing Affection Between Hillary and Marcus

After two months of continued therapy Marcus's condition improved. He can walk in short distance and in a slow pace. Hillary and Marina cared for him very well.

Marina was observing at her two friends who were very affectionate to each other. Hillary was feeding Marcus and they were laughing together. The two were both unaware that Marina was envious about it.

She took a photo of them silently and posted it on her instagram account.

"I love you Marcus but you pay no attention to me." Marina mumbled bitterly.

Days went fast. Hillary most of the time assisted Marcus for his therapy and his day to day activities.

"How was the investigation?" Marcus asked Hillary in between their conversation.

"No new updates yet. Don't think about it for now. Just focus on recovering for yourself. It is important that you can walk back normally again. Right Marina?" Hillary spelled out smiling peeking at her friend.

"AHH, yes. That's right so we can tour around the city again. Hillary was right." Marina
