Asher kept holding Claire in his arms until she finally fell asleep. Once she was asleep, he carried her into her bedroom and gently placed her on the bed. Afterwards, he picked up his phone and called Lucas.

"Where are you?" he asked, and Lucas answered the call.

"Elm, I'm at the club with Vivian. Why, is there a problem?"

"No, there's no problem. It's just that I'd like to see you."
