Chapter 21 Seraphina

Seraphina POV

The last thing I remembered was being annoyed with Callan and standing up to leave when my head felt woozy and my vision tunneled. I heard the sounds of muffled voices as my body regained consciousness.

“So what’s wrong with her?” I heard Callan ask.

“She’s severely dehydrated and her blood sugar is very low, as if she hasn’t eaten in a while.”

Well duh, I hadn’t ate or drank anything. I had been working my ass off with no breaks and no one had told me if I was allowed to get food or not. I had asked Stacy on multiple occasions

about dinner and she had told me to figure it out myself and that she “wasn’t my maid.” The irony wasn’t lost on me at her choice of words.

Callan cursed. When I opened my eyes I saw him pacing the room with his hand cupping his chin. “Get Stacy for me,” he ordered.

I internally groaned. You idiot, don’t get the woman who was hell bent on making my life a living hell.
