Chapter 25: Seraphina

Seraphina POV

I woke up the next morning with something heavy on my waist and something hard poking at my rear. The black-out curtains did nothing to help me identify the source that was holding me hostage by keeping the room completely black.

I wiggled again causing the hardness to poke me further. As I finally became aware of my surroundings and realized no what, but WHO was behind me and what part of him was poking me, did I lurch away from him. Naturally, because things weren’t awkward enough, I miscalculated how much of the bed I had on my side and fell off the bed.

With a loud hmmph, I hit half of my body on the area rug and half on the dark wood floors. I sqeaked at the cold floor hitting my bare skin, before groaning when the pain in my knee radiated up my leg.

A sleepy, dischelved, Callan looked over the side at the bed and down at me who still lay sprawled on the floor. “You know, the bed is a lot more comfortable than the floor.”

I glared up at him. “No shit Sherlock!
