Chapter 66: Callan

Callan POV

I watched Sera as she sashayed out of the training arena. The sway of her hips was hypnotic and made me want to chase her and have my way with every inch of skin.

“What’s that weird thing on your face?” I looked at him with confusion.

A broad smile crossed Drake's face. “Ah! That’s what it is.” Drake continued to talk to himself.

“What are you going on about?” It was known that Drake liked to say cryptic things. I, however, didn’t feel like trying to decipher that he was saying.

“The dark prince himself has a smile on his face. Prays be!”

I rolled my eyes and jabbed him in the shoulder making Drake stumble.

For the next hour we spent sparring and taunting one another. It was the first time in a long time that I felt content with life. The need to take over more packs and add to my territory had diminished with Sera now in my life. She was by far the best bargain I had ever created.
