Chapter 191. Meat pies & little pigs
Mj had finished helping Lou and Matt clean up after a chaotic day, the full moon fire meant more people than usual eating with the pack so the meat order had more than tripled. Matt had already excused himself and Mj was watching Lou try to busy himself waiting for her to leave. “Go Lou,” Mj groaned playfully and the sound of the butcher’s stomach cried out, “I can hear how hungry you are and I know everyone else is already down in the hall...just go I will be fine.” Mj hopped up on one of the stainless steel countertops and laid down on her back with her ankles and hands crossed.
Lou chuckled “why don't you just come to dinner with me Moll...i’m sure your assassin will be there soon, he is head of an entire patrol unit right now so he is probably just busy.”

As Theron moved effortlessly through the trees he noticed that Mj’s body was trembling so he pulled her closer, wrapping both arms tightly around as much of her body as he could and tucking his head over his arms to warm her with his breath. Dante caught up to Mj quickly and although he could see the tears streaming from her face as they ran he didn't try to stop her, he could feel her desperate anger and hurt, the feeling surprised him a little because Mj had not been brought up on the stories of wolves but she still felt such an intense connection to her own ancestors she was grieving them now. After running for almost three miles Mj’s sprinting came to a slow stop and she turned around, burying her face into Dante’s chest.
