Dante knew that Ace had found Mj and was doing his best to keep her from leaving until he could get to her. Dante knew that there were so many things he owed Mj and from the events that had just unfolded and the information Ace was feeding him he knew answering her questions was the first thing he needed to give her. When Dante found Ace and Mj he was in complete shock, Ace was lying about twelve feet away from Mj and he was crumpled over a broken tree, Mj was seething with power and anger Dante felt panicked, she was screaming so loud it was almost hurting his ears. “Her nose was bleeding and her eyes were gold!” Dante observed in horror.

Dante didn't quite know what to do, he knew Mara was a wolf but she was rouge so his status in the pack didn't intimidate her quite as much and he wasn't sure if she knew he was an original because Earth born wolves couldn't distinguish between the scents.

Mj stirred slightly and opened her eyes, she blinked the blur away and realized she was once again in Dante’s room, she tried to sit up and her body felt heavy. Several times Dante had tried to pick Mj up and carry her but she just slapped his hands away or dodged his arms so he gave up as they had reached Alpha's private office anyway. The huge double doors were made of a deep brown wood polished to a dull shine and carved across them was a scene only visible when they were closed. It was that of a man and a huge wolf connected to the same heart by what looked like roots and holding the heart was a woman. “It was beautiful and terrifying at the same time,” Mj thought. “It was like they worshiped the woman, or they were gonna eat her heart at this point it could be either.”
