Forbidden Love

All this time, Giselle had never told Marcus about her past. Not even her mother and father knew that she had a human child. Her parents only knew that she had a relationship with a human.

"I,-"

When Giselle wanted to answer him, a man suddenly entered because he wanted to tell Marcus something.

"Sorry chief, there is a fortune teller named Ghevana who wants to meet you," said the man.

"Alright, I'll be right out," the man replied.

"I'm going out to see the fortune teller first, after this, we'll continue our conversation," he said and left his wife.

Outside, there is Ghevana, a powerful fortune teller whose predictions are rumored to never miss. She wanted to tell Marcus something important from her predictions.

"Mrs. Ghevana, good to see you again," Marcus greeted her.

"Thank you, I apologize in advance for my sudden arrival because I found a clue about your people's prophecy. I am also sorry for the death of your daughter, Arnanta," the woman explained her arrival.

Ghevana then told me that she found clues through the moon. That the full moon fell earlier than usual therefore she believed that the goddess would return and save the wolf nation. The goddess would also save humans from the cruelty of vampires.

"The constellations also make it clear that she is getting closer," she added, handing over her thick book.

"Are you sure she's still alive and that she wants to defend my people?" asked Marcus enthusiastically.

"Of course! She is a goddess born of a human father and a werewolf mother. She will have both the strength of her father and mother. Cruelty like her mother and gentleness like her father," the woman guessed about the goddess' existence.

"Then where is she now? Why didn't she go to Werewolfia?" Marcus looked impatient.

"Fate will bring her here, her path will not be easy to defend her nation because later she will be faced with two difficult choices," she said.

"What?" responded Marcus.

"You'll find out for yourself, ask your wife, she must know a bit about the goddess," she pleaded.

"How old is she?" asked Marcus again.

"19 years old," the woman replied smiling.

19 years old? Marcus thought that he was 1 year older than Arnanta. It was possible that Giselle must have known about the goddess.

"Why don't you just tell me where she is right now? So that I can look for her quickly!" Marcus pleaded.

"Marcus, be patient, even though I know about her,I'm not a God who can just bring her here. Let fate bring her here," the woman explained.

"Meet your wife now, she must still be saddened by Arnanta's death, please do not discuss about the goddess now to her, let it flow like this first, I take my leave," she said.

Marcus went back to see his wife. He will try to make her feel calm first.

Since Jeff's departure, Brizel has been determined to find her parents' identity. The girl prepared everything she needed to go to the forest she believed to be her homeland. By digging up information on where she was found, Brizel is determined to find her parents.

"Are you sure you want to go to the forest? I'm afraid you'll get hurt," the woman said worriedly.

"Mom, don't worry, Luke will take care of you," the girl said.

"It's Luke you're counting on! He must be busy with his soccer!" she chided.

Andrew was on assignment in another country so it was just the three of them at home. Brizel was also worried about him not being home because Luke was too young.

"Is this enough for clothes?" she asked.

"It's enough mom. I think the food is enough too, it's like you never took me camping!" the girl joked.

"This is an unusual camping, daughter, because you are looking for your biological parents," she said sadly.

Brizella hugged Fiona. She knew that it was hard for Fiona to let her go. Especially until Brizella found her family and separated from her.

"Promise me, daughter, no matter what happens, come back to me!" pleaded the woman with a heavy heart to let Brizella go.

The girl was indecisive. Her goal was to find her parents so she could live with them and not bother Fiona anymore. However, her mother finds it difficult to let her go.

"Mom, I'm sorry. For this, I can't promise, but I'll try to be with you," she said, making her mother proud of her.

After she finished packing, Fiona drove her by car only to the main gate of the forest. Brizel prevented her from entering because she didn't want her mother to be in danger.

Brizel walked through the forest carrying her large bag after making sure Fiona was gone. She planned to make camp near a shady tree while she searched for her family's origins.

Jeff was gone, so she had to stand alone now. But Jeff's shadow always reminded her to be careful. Brizel carries an anklet with the name "NA" written on it because the bandol seems to be broken.

"Mom said she found this on my right leg when I was found, but why is it called Na? My name is Brizel," she said.

The girl then made a tent. After finishing, she looked for firewood to the depths of the forest. But what was her surprise when she saw a gray wolf sleeping near the firewood she wanted to take.

"Oh my God, how is this?" the girl thought.

She wanted to take it, but she was afraid that the wolf would wake up. Wanted to look for wood elsewhere, but it would have to be farther away.

Rather than causing trouble, Brizella finally turned her body around. But unfortunately, the girl was hit by a bush that made her fall so that the gray wolf finally woke up.

Brizella was surprised that the wolf woke up. Meanwhile, her foot was caught in a bush. She felt that her luck was not good this time.

"Please don't eat me!" the girl cried.

The creepy-looking wolf slowly advanced making Brizella move backwards because she was so scared. But when the wolf was about to pounce on her, a light suddenly appeared which made the wolf groan in pain and the shrubbery on its legs fell off.

The wolf thrashed around in pain until it couldn't take it and turned into a human which made Brizella widen her eyes.

"You?" asked Brizella, who was able to stand up.

"Argh! This hurts! Why do I want to eat you but why am I in pain?" asked the wolf nation, which turned out to be a man.

"I don't know either, but I'll help you!" She said.

However, Jeff's shadow reappears as if to say no to Brizella. However, this time Brizella could not obey him because it was for the sake of humanity.

"I'll help you!" the girl took one of the man's arms and tried to carry him to her tent. She was not at all afraid even though this demon had almost tripped her.

"Where are you taking me?" the man asked coldly.

"To my tent, don't move too much and it'll hurt more!" she pleaded.

Brizel walked the man to her tent. She laid him down in the rather large tent while she found some medicine for him.

"What do you feel now?" asked Brizel.

"My whole body hurts after wanting to attack you!" she replied curtly,

Brizella was at a loss as to what medicine could possibly cure the man's illness. However, when her bracelet with the word "Na" hit the man's stomach, a golden-colored light came out of the man's body.

"I've recovered," the man replied, rising to his feet.

"I haven't even treated you yet," Brizel was honest.

"Then who is treating me?" he thought.

The man's eyes then focused on the anklet in Brizel's hand.

"Is this bracelet yours?" she asked.

"Yes, this is the bracelet my mother gave me when I was born," she answered honestly.

"I've heard from my ancestors that this bracelet only belongs to someone who was born a goddess," she says.

"What? Goddess? Don't joke around! Bracelets like this are probably all over the market," she retorted.

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself to you! I'm Samuel, just call me Sam!" the man extended his hand.

"I'm Brizella, usually called Brizel!" the girl accepted her hand.

"Brizella, such a pretty name," he thought with a smile.
