The moonless night was silent and serene. The stars were twinkling above the vast darkness of the sky. There were no other visible light in the darkness except for the burning bonfires dancing on the calm blow of the night's breeze.

King Astius and his men together with the senior trainee soldiers were resting inside their tents in the middle of the plains on the foot of Green Cone Mountain.
