Zedicus, Audrey and the rogues had been running for days, passing many rivers, jungles and lands and didn’t stop. On the night of the third day of running, they had to stop and rest for the sake of the females who had been whining that they were tired. Audrey was surprisingly engulfed with loads of strength and so wasn’t bothered about resting. While they were all chatting, they heard growls coming from the right side and once again they all stood up alert at the imminent danger. Zedicus didn’t know whether to hide his mate as it seems she too was ready to fight any danger and this would be the first time Zedicus was seeing this courageous side of his mate.

A group of wolves estimated at thirty circled the crew as they tried to stay together defensively. The wolves didn’t attack; neither did Zedicus, Audrey and the rogues.
