I woke up from my dream.

My mom knocked on the door and shouted, "You're going to be late!"

It was almost 9 a.m. again.

I had been sleeping soundly since the day when Roland appeared in my dream. I couldn't even hear the alarm clock at all.

I didn't have time to have breakfast, so I grabbed a carton of milk and some bread and ran out of the house.

On the way to work, I kept repeating in my head Roland's words, "After all, you stepped on my feet twice and I didn't feel a thing."

My heart beat fast. I wondered if Roland had already recognized me in reality as well.

Roland hadn't arrived at the company yet when I arrived. Thinking of my work report, I turned on the computer to start writing it.

Dorothy leaned over and teased me, "You work so hard!"

I took a bite of the bread and replied, "Mr. Lawson asked me to rewrite a detailed work report."

At this moment, a slender figure walked past us.

I stopped in my movements stiffly.

"What's wrong?" Dorothy asked.

The door of the
