Upon returning home, I immediately confessed everything to my parents.

Surprisingly, they didn't place too much blame on me and even accompanied me to meet the Shultz family.

We offered our sincere apologies.

The Sherwood Corporation also provided proper compensation for their business losses.

With Arthur's help, the Shultz family treated us with politeness and civility despite the situation.

When Arthur saw us off, my parents got in the car first, leaving space for us to talk in private.
