"Andrew!" As soon as I turned into the hospital hallway, I called my friend and found him headed for the locker room.

Andrew froze and immediately turned to me, "Hey!" he said.

"Do you remember to go get the cupcakes?" I told him as I flanked him.

"Cupcakes and balloons, I also have to get some pizza for Jess, who’s in the mood for pizza," he said as we started walking toward the locker room.

Our shift was over, that would be my last ten-hour shift because from Monday I would start medical school and consequently part-time in the hospital. So I had taken advantage of it, and I had done the full night in the emergency room with Andrew, while that day, we had the party to find out the sex of the children.
