Chapter 60: Calm before the Storm

I continued eating the pizza that Lucrezia handed me, letting it’s starchy taste roll around my mouth as I tried to show her that I like the food that she had prepared for me.

To be honest, both the pizza and the salad doesn’t taste good. Her salad dressing tastes weird. If she already failed something as simple as salad and a pizza that has exact step by step process in the internet, I just couldn’t wonder what the steak at the corner of the table would taste like.

Lucrezia lied when she said she knows how to cook. She must have felt bad to tell me the truth because i knew how to cook and even cooked for her.

She didn’t know that I would find out the truth this sooner.

It explains why she was trying to avoid to cook for me. I actually thought that she knew how to cook that is why I was eager to have a taste of her cooking.

I shouldn’t have forced her to cook… or maybe she shouldn’t have lied to me about it.
