Abandoned

She sat against the door until she heard a small noise. She lifted her head to look in the direction. The rain still didn't stopped, the water pour down heavily as if crying along with her.

A slight window in the gates was open, which was so small that only a hand could pass through it. She stood up to look who opened it, and if she can beg them to let her in. It was dark, desolate and scary out there. The empty streets with no light were not only insecure but also unfamiliar. As if she never saw such sight in those months.

It has been a long time, since she arrived there and got enclosed in that home of his where she was never able to witness the environment outside the walls for months.

And it all felt so awkwardly strange. A hand came forward from inside the window. Before she could speak or even utter a word, the thing which came in view froze her.

It was Amber's hand but it did not surprised her. The thing which shook her was in her hand.
