Ravage you

It was 01:00 am in the morning when she woke breathing heavily and her forehead covered in thick sweat. She was constantly having nightmares since she arrived but couldn't put up with it. Every night her sleep was disturbed like this. She stood up from the bed to drink water. But it seemed like Amber forgot to place the jug on the table. 

She was utterly terrified of going out of the room alone at this hour but her throat was itching with dryness. Leaving no choice she wore her slippers and opened the door to go to the kitchen. 

The lights were off as usual and cold breeze was blowing through the windows and into the house. After monsoon, the winters were expected as the breeze felt chilly. 

She was wearing very light clothes so she felt herself getting cold. She rubbed her hands around her shoulders and upper arms, in sense of warming her up. The warm sweat was now giving her a sensation of coolness as it evaporated slowly.
