Ivy's POV

The whole room was so silent that if a pin was dropped then we would all hear the sound very loud and clear. All eyes were on me because of the statement I had made regarding Dan's question. To be honest I felt there was no point hiding anything from him because he was going to find out sooner or later and since he was already asking about him now then he deserved to know what was going on with his son.

"Well is anyone going to say anything to me at all? What is going on here?" He asked again and I could tell that he was getting worked up about the whole secret thing.

"Your son has not showed any form of improvement since you both were brought here but he is most definitely still alive so there's no need to fret" Dr Rashad finally told him the truth and I watched his face carefully as he listened to the doctor's words, a mix of emotions pass swiftly and it settles on a frown of confusion
