Before I could even process what was happening, Aiden had already wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled me in so I was just inches away from his face.

His grip was strong and determined as he kept me tightly held in place, not letting me escape. I could feel my heart rate increase as anxiety filled my body and as we locked eyes, it felt like time stopped still. He stared deep into my eyes with an unmatched intensity that made it hard for me to look away.
