*Anusha Pov*
"Let me sleep, Bhai." I screamed, covering my face with the pillow, but he continued to knock on the door.
"Why are you torturing me?" I asked, opening the door to which he smiled and pushed me back before entering the room.
"I am not going to sit alone with them to bear their company. You can't escape it just because today is a holiday." He replied, shrugging, and started checking my music collection.
"Then you go and sleep." I mumbled, sitting on the bed.
"Nope! Then he will start giving me a class on how a businessman should spend the leisure days." He pointed out making me grin.
"A businessman is a businessman even in his sleep." I repeated Dad's words.
"Exactly! Now, get ready and come downstairs. Otherwise, I am not going to give you this ticket." Saying that he took out a paper making me scream.
"I didn't get one then how did you?" I asked, reaching near him but he lifted it up.
"Connections! Now, let's enjoy breakfast and in the evening I will even come along with you to the movie." He suggested.
"I can go with my friend." I suggested back.
"It is a night show." He stated as an explanation and left my room while I sighed.
After getting ready, I walked downstairs to see Mom and Dad already in their places and I so I knocked on Bhai's door on the way to which he immediately opened the door. We both walked downstairs and took our places in the dining area.
"Did you talk to the client?" Dad asked looking at me.
"Yeah! He is ready to listen to our deal." I replied, taking the bread slice.
"Are you ready with the deal to show the client?" he asked, turning towards Bhai and all he got was a nod.
"Tell him to be proper at the meeting and get this client somehow." Dad said looking at me.
"Dad! He is best." I assured him, but he just shook his head and continued to have his breakfast.
"It's a good thing you woke up early. We need to go shopping today." Mom suddenly said making me frown.
"Mom! I can't come today and what is the need?" I asked her frowning.
She looked at me like I said some very bad joke, but she shook her head in the next minute in disappointment.
"That's why I asked you to attend the kitty parties with me. Anyway, we need to upgrade ourselves with the fashion developments. And you are really good at telling the proper ones that would suit me." She pointed out smiling.
"Mom! I am actually going out today. And I don't know how long will it take for the shopping." I said with a smile.
"Date?" she asked, smiling and there was complete silence around us with Dad looking at me.
"Anyone we know?" he asked frowning.
"You know him too well, Dad." Bhai finally entered the conversation.
"Really? Who is that?" he asked with a relieved expression.
"Me!" when Bhai uttered that I couldn't help but laugh at Dad's expression.
"Ansh!" Dad warned, but Bhai just gave him an innocent expression.
"You don't know me well, Dad?" he asked with wide eyes and I wish he would stop that because I felt like laughing out loud seeing his drama.
"I am going to work." Saying that Dad stood up and gave a nod to Mom.
"Mom! Don't you think Dad should have stayed at home at least on Sundays?" I asked frowning at her.
"Why would he do that? Work is more important and even I need to meet the charity organization today." Saying that she stood up and walked off in the opposite direction.
"That's a relief!" Bhai said, sighing and leaned back with a relaxed expression.
"Don't you worry that they are becoming even more distant?" I asked him frowning.
"Isn't it a good thing? I can't hear either both of them talking about society or about some new people of our standards." He replied closing his eyes.
"But I had fun today." He added grinning.
"You should have joined the drama school." I said, kicking his leg with mine.
"I wanted to when I was in school, but Dad just said a future businessman never does drama. So, I decided to unleash all that on them." He said winking at me making me sigh.
"Just don't forget about the movie because of one of your dates." I said getting up to which he chuckled.
"Don't worry! Today I am very free with a fresh break up made yesterday, but I can't say the same about tomorrow. Who knows, I may meet someone today night only?" he asked and laughed seeing my expression before walking off.
"God! I want to meet some normal people in my life like completely normal." I said, looking up and walked off to my room to hear some music to forget all this.

"Stop that nonsense." I grumbled passing the living room, but my Bhabhi continued to watch the television not reducing the sound.
"Why are you scolding my daughter-in-law?" Mom asked, reaching the dining table with a frown holding the dishes in her hands.
"Who will watch a soap opera in the morning?" I asked taking my place.
"Because of the match we both missed it yesterday and you only suggested we record it and watch later." She pointed out and served the paratha.
"I gave a suggestion when you both started fighting with Dad and Bhai disturbing my reading." I pointed back that I was not involved with a match at all.
Before she can open her mouth, we heard footsteps and saw Dad and Bhai walking towards the dining area which means she will go quiet making me smirk.
"Stop that! Who watches soap opera in the early morning?" Dad asked passing the living room and then I heard the television getting switched off.
When Bhabhi walked towards the table, I glared at her, but she just gave a shrug before helping Mom with the serving and everyone took their place.
"I will assume you are coming for tomorrow's meeting." Dad asked but I stayed quiet.
"It would have been a normal one, but seems like we have a competition tomorrow. So, it would be better if everyone is present and be ready for any extra work." He added.
"Do I need to be there? My work doesn't involve presenting the idea to the client." I pointed out to which he frowned at me.
"If any new idea needs to be given, then should we call you and wait for you to reach?" he asked making me grit my teeth but I stayed silent.
"Don't talk about the business having breakfast and that too on holiday." Mom stated making me smile to myself.
She is always in the first step to stop Dad from saying anything to me. Well, the perks of being Mom's favorite, but at work Bhai has it for being Dad's favorite.
"Thank you, Mom!" I said, hugging her when Dad and Bhai left the dining area finishing their breakfast to discuss tomorrow's meeting.
"You can thank her better by doing one thing." Bhabhi offered reaching near us.
"How?" I asked her frowning.
"Every day we miss our shows because of your Dad and Brother. So, we both thought of having a television in your room. You are not interested in it. So, can we?" she asked smiling.
"Why don't you have one in one of your rooms?" I asked them frowning.
"Then they will occupy that along with living room's. Can't you do this for your poor mother?" Bhabhi asked, gesturing my Mom and Mom gave that sad look.
"Fine, Fine! When you look sad, you know that I will do everything." I said, pulling her cheeks and she smiled.
"But I don't want Dad to think I asked this for myself. It is your duty to get one and don't use my name." I added to which Bhabhi promised and I shook my head walking away.
Now, I will not have peace, even in my room to have a good time reading a book. But if it for Mom, then it doesn't matter at all! I thought, smiling and reached my room to finish the important books before the roommate, the television enters my room.
*Anusha Pov*"Bhai! Help me here." I asked, frowning at him trying to not let the files fall down, but he is engrossed in his phone call."Wait! I am trying to get my Ex to leave me." He replied with an irritated tone while I glared at him.We both were already late for this meeting and Dad will kill both of us if we don't enter inside this minute. But this brother of mine is not even opening the door and to top of that talking to his Ex."Here!" I heard a voice and saw someone holding the door.I glanced at the person whispering, "Thanks!" while he completely opened the door to which he gave a smile and I sm
*Anusha Pov*"I don't want to eat that for sure." I said, staring at the brownie my friend got for herself."Then go and get what you want." She said enjoying her favorite making me sigh."I am lazy. Can't you understand that? You should have brought something for me too." Mumbling, I stood up and started walking towards the counter.Taking the ice cream I turned around to walk towards my table, but something, or shall I say someone caught my eyes. I stood at my place for a few seconds thinking what to do.But finally walked towards him when he is just nodding at his friend and I greeted him saying, "Hey!"
*Satvik Pov*"Check your mobile later, Satvik. First, have your food." Mom scolded and I frowned at her."Mom! I am not a small kid." I mumbled and placed my phone aside still with no message from her and tomorrow is the movie day."If you are suddenly acting like one, Mom will be like that only, right?" Bhabhi asked making me glance at her and everyone to stare at me."I don't know what you are talking, Bhabhi." I replied and continued to have my food ignoring the staring from everyone."From the past two days, you are suddenly interested in your mobile and not talking to anyone properly and not even having
*Anusha Pov*"What?" I asked Bhai, when he continued to stare at me."Are you hiding something?" he asked making me frown but then I paled thinking he may have got to know about Satvik."Why?" I mumbled, not knowing what to tell him."It's been so long since we went somewhere and you didn't even ask me to take you anywhere." He replied and I sighed in relief."Nothing to hide, Bhai. We are just busy I guess and you even got a new girlfriend now, right?" I asked him smiling."Any girlfriend will not be more important than you. So, if there is any problem just
*Satvik Pov*"I am not hungry." I mumbled, looking at my watch, and didn't even glance at anyone but I know everyone is looking at me."Aren't you going to come to work?" Dad asked and at that moment I glanced up from the dining entrance to stare at him.I didn't want this confrontation and was leaving calmly but Mom called me from the doorway and I had to stop."It will not matter whether I will be there or not, right? I am working there only because I am your son." I stated making him shake his head."Forget all that, Satvik. Just come to work and forget about that girl also." Bhai said frowning at me.
*Anusha Pov*"What are you thinking?" he whispered, but I just stared at the ceiling."Sha?" he called and I finally turned to stare at him."What have we done?" I asked, feeling the effect of what we did finally lodge in the head."You are regretting our marriage?" he asked, frowning and moved to look away, but I held his face making him stare at me."The way we did it. Maybe we should have waited." I replied, to which he shook his head."Your Dad..." he started, but I stopped him, placing a finger on his lips.
*Anusha Pov*I am definitely going to fail! I thought, staring at these two women who are behaving like I took some tonic and became invisible.I cleared my throat entering the kitchen and finally mumbled, “Uhm… Aunty!”“What is it?” Bhabhi asked and I turned to stare at her with a smile even though she has a very impatient expression.“Can I help?” I asked and aunty immediately replied with a ‘No!’Well, that went too well and now what else can I do. But then I can’t live with the people who don’t like me with peace, right.Well, if a client says the same thing what would you do, Anu? I asked myself and nodded to myself thinking of this solution.“I want to help and learn the things.” I said not backing down and finally, I was given a set of carrots to peel before they turned back to their works.Aunty continued to cle
*Anusha Pov*“Sha!” I heard the whisper, but I groaned, turning around and covering my ears to not get much disturbed.“It’s already late, Sha. I need to leave for the office and we need to have breakfast.” The voice continued.“Let me sleep!” I said in an irritated tone.“They must be sitting at the table waiting for us.” The voice commented.“Then let them wait or if they feel hungry, let them eat whoever they are but just let me sleep whoever you are.” Saying that I drifted off into sleep.I woke up smiling, feeling completely fresh, and glanced at the clock only to feel my heart skip beating and my eyes widened.“No, no, no!” I whispered scrambling from the bed and rushed to the washroom hoping he is just showering inside and the clock is wrong.“Satvik! My sweet husband, just stay here.” I whispered knoc
