Chapter 19 : The Engagement Part 2

Lewis' POV

"Is everything ready?"

I asked the hotel manager and she nodded in affirmation.

Victoria would soon be here and I was getting nervous.

I planned to propose to Victoria today.

I had gotten a wedding ring from the same store that my dad got my mum's ring.

It was a diamond ring that didn't have a very big gem. I noticed Victoria never wore rings with big gems because she was scared they were going to fall off one day.

I took one last look at the ring and I put it in my pocket when I heard Victoria's footsteps approaching.

I told her that we were going to celebrate her getting a new job. I wasn't able to congratulate her well because of my busy schedule, but I had other plans.

She came wearing the same dress she wore when we first met.

It made me reminisce the time she fell on her butt and cursed under her breath. I smiled at I remember how she looked when I poked her forehead with my finger. She was beautiful and she still was.
