Turns out the saying is actually true. Not all that glitters is gold. When River was doing those nice things, I thought he was a good person and I could trust him, I even hurriedly agreed to a relationship with him hoping and trusting he wasn’t like other men. Unknown to me, he was worse than other men, I regret ever meeting him.

 That aside, the damage had already been done, we just had to find a way to undo it. Camden still didn’t know anything about what was going on; Arianne made me promise not to tell anyone, not even Camden. She was worried her "secret" would be out and somebody would try to involve the police which would lead to her family getting hurt.
