“Severe case of alcohol allergy. Fortunately, the patient was delivered here in time. If it was a few minutes later, she would be gone.”

Grace almost fainted. “Is she going to be okay?”

“We did a gastric lavage on her, so she’s in the clear for now and about to be transferred to the ward.”

Grace’s anxiety finally gave way a little.
