Chapter 19

~ROMAN~

The gum in my mouth started to taste bittersweet as she eyed me and I watched the hatred for me through her eyes appear boldly.

Even if she was going to decide to stop hating me one day, I was pretty much sure that her sister's death was going to remind her to continue to do, come what may. And I hated that she even assumed I was a part of it without asking any questions. Without being so sure.

Her slicked bun, which I had noticed was a favorite hairstyle of hers when she didn't let her hair fall to her lower back, now had little strands sticking out of them. But her red matte lipstick still sat tidy and beautifully on her. And her eye makeup was surprisingly still intact.

Every eyes rested on her as she stood, the men were undoubtedly mesmerized just like every other time they see her while the women either genuinely admired her or were straight up judging her. But it didn't seem like she knew the power she had on the men or the women.
