Chapter 57~Monkey People

Lin walked up to the darkness and approached the trees. She was hearing more animal sounds as she got closer, and the sounds were getting even more violent.

“Who are you?” She asked, but not in such a loud voice this time.

The creature who the eyes belonged to walked out of the darkness and began to inspect the she-wolf.

It had not seen a werewolf in a very long time, so it tried it best to remain calm and pushed down its appetite.

“You don’t belong here,” it said in a deep raspy voice.

The voice of the creature sent chills down Lin’s spine, her heart picking up its pace. She could see it so clearly, also thanks to her low-light vision.

“What are you?”

“I’m Han, the leader of the monkey people.”

The creature was huge, it stood above her even though its back was arched a bit. It was almost like looking at a gorilla except more on the human side.

“Han…I’m…I’m Lin Boyce, a she-wolf, she replied, introducing herself. She did not attempt to reach in for a handshake or nothing though.
