Aria POV:

Aria's eyes fluttered open as the blaring sound of her alarm clock shattered the peaceful silence of her room. She groaned, realizing she had overslept on the very first day of her nursing job at the hospital. Panic set in as she glanced at the clock, and she leaped out of bed, frantically searching for her uniform.

The morning light streamed through the curtains as Aria hastily brushed her teeth, combed her tousled hair, and threw on her crisp white nurse's uniform. The clock continued its relentless ticking, a reminder of the minutes slipping away. Aria fumbled with her shoelaces, trying to tie them neatly while muttering a series of curses under her breath.

Finally ready, she dashed out of her apartment, clutching her bag and hoping she wouldn't forget anything crucial. The elevator seemed to mock her with its sluggish ascent, and she tapped her foot impatiently, glancing at her watch every few seconds.
