Dracula?

I had a high fever the next day and I didn’t remember what happened the day before. My sisters told me that Lord Lee brought me home. I remembered meeting Lee but I had no memory of the events that followed.

I was given a half day off on my very second day at work. I was standing at my garden door when I heard my sisters squeal. I ran inside to figure out what the commotion was about. I was amazed to see that the king was standing at the door. Behind him were all the servants and guards who were looking much more bewildered. The king’s presence made everyone so nervous that none of them moved a muscle to welcome him. I stepped ahead and bowed to him.

“My lord, what brings you here?”, I asked politely.

“I told you not to be too formal. I just came to monitor the quarters and heard about your health so I visited.”, he answered.
