CLXX. A Warning

Victor assured to Oneil that he would return to personally talk about the new matters concerning Essi’s case. When he turned around, he noticed how Geovensia and Rain are having a serious conversation. “Is there something wrong?” Geovensia wanted to know what else must be going on inside Rain’s mind. The man sighed before her.

“I’m afraid that you probably do not know what happened to Ma’am Essi,” Rain said. “And I feel sorry that I was late on helping her.”

“What happened to her?” It may seem obvious in Geovensia that she already knew what happened. But she couldn’t help but stammer through her words.

Rain paused. He went to the corner of the storage room to sincerely tell her what happened. “Would you believe me?”

“Why are you asking me like that? You were not spilling what happened yet,” Geovensia pulled all the friendliness she could to know his side too. With slow steps, she went right next to him.

“”I’m afraid that I might be blamed about what happened to Essi,“ Rain said.
