LXXXII. Fears

Beneath the pounding rain, Essi could finally let out how she was still trembling until now. She cannot make an illusion to herself to make that incident less terrifying in her mind. While she stood hardhearted in front of Oneil and Grant Mercator, she wanted to cry out loud in fear. She was never strong to fight against men who were armed with guns and readiness to hurt her. She was unlike those fearless girls portrayed in movies. The sight of her skin injured from the garden fence as Oneil and her ran away from the men made her feel weaker.
