I had nothing and I was a nobody

The following day came and Marius took Loque Bella to go and see Ludrin. He lived in a cottage; just like the one he and his family lived in but smaller and it was located a good distance from the village by the banks of a small river.

They arrived riding on a horse and got down to meet Ludrin who was sitting under a tree smoking a pipe.

Quentin was a kingdom that resembled Hampshen but was smaller and far less advanced; their houses were made of wood and the people wore very simple and dull coloured clothes.

"Ludrin?" Marius said and Ludrin turned to them. "Good morning."

"Uh Marius, a good morning to you too," Ludrin said and stood up to meet them. He was a seventy something year old man with a bushy white beard.

"How are you?"

"I am very well thank you. And yourselves?"

"We're good thank you," Marius responded.

"And who do we have here?"

"This is a friend. Her name is Loque Bella."

"Lovely to meet you my dear,"
