Chapter 40
She could feel the wind brushing across her face while she ran, her whole body engaged in the thoughts of wanting to get away from everyone around her, the feeling of being deserted and unwanted consuming her badly.
Her tears gradually sprinkling off her face as the wind encouraged her speed, she wasn't willing to stop, she just wanted to keep going until she couldn't see the shadows of her fear lurking behind her, the fear of Diana returning, the fear of watching Joshua love, kiss and build a family with her.
"He is all I have ever wanted, he is all I want" she cried out with her heart feeling like it have being pierced by a thousand spears, she fell on the rocky ground, covered with enough sand too to shield her skin burying her self amongst them all is wept like a child.

Joshua arrived home with Terry, they both looked completely exhausted, Terry's legs were aching even more, he wondered if they were both wounded.He sluggishly moved over to a wooden stool and sat quietly without saying a word to Joshua who had the ends of his eyes steady on him, he was still skeptical about Terry's response that he was okay, he would still sense a weakness in his behavior towards him and wondered what was going on but asking him such question at that point felt very wrong since they were both tired and hungry.Joshua staggered a bit and finally sat on a rocking chair stretching both of his legs, he took a deep breath and shut his eyes, the clouds were even getting darker and a fire needed to be lighted, he opened his eyes and rubbed his hands across his face while calling out to the servants at home, two of them arrived at home greeting with so much warmth in between their voice "you called my lord" they bowed with so much humility.
