Chapter Twenty-Seven: Inside Enemy

Washing the blood off my body in the shower, it seeps down into the drain. Like ribbons slipping through the wind. The events play out in my head. Looking back, I should have guessed it was a trick. I was consumed by the anger I felt. They shouldn't have even been in this room in the first place. Lathering coconut smelling soap into my hands, I run it through my hair, suds building like the emotions that hurricane through me. Guards had come rushing in.
