Untruth

Leah bit her lip, choosing to ignore Luke's message. After turning off his cell phone, he walked over to Mia who was sitting on the edge of the pool, hugging her knees.

"Hi," said Leah then sat down next to Mia. Mia turned her head, her face looked very puffy. Suddenly guilt hit Leah, "Are you feeling better?" asked her, putting her arm around Mia's shoulder.

Mia shook her head, "It feels like a big rock stuck in my chest until I couldn't breathe, I've never felt this way just because of a man..." Mia sobbed, she covered her face with her hands, tears dripping from between her fingers.

Leah was silent, she didn't know what to say. After reading Luke's message to her earlier, she couldn't just close her eyes and pretended that Luke liked Mia too.

"Do you think Luke doesn't like me?" Mia asked while sobbing occasionally.
