Louis looked totally exhausted, he had returned from the market and he looked really messed up.

His hands and clothes had dark stains all over as he was stinking of fish smell.

Thelma smiled on seeing him, at least he was leaving the house on daily basis unlike before when he spent hours drenching his throat and mouth with alcohol.

His father sat at the other corner with a newspaper in his hands.

"Good evening father" he greeted walking past him.

"Good evening son" his father greeted back as he watched him pass.

Thelma turned to him "I told you that soon he would get over everything."

He chuckled "I hope he forgives you when he finds out that you were the enemy he didn't know was lurking around."

Her eyes widened in anger "what nonsense are you talking about?"

"About the evil you did Thelma, stop acting like what you did was right " he said fixing his gaze on the newspaper.
