Chapter 116

Alma got out of the bed and wrapped herself in a bed sheet, she limped as she headed out, their deed still evident as she could not walk properly. Outside the door Alma found the same guard from before, she wondered if he had stayed there even when they were busy with their love making, but that was for another day. She was there to find where the sound had come from but it was suddenly quiet.

The guard noticed her but could not help but mask his worried expression.

"Where to ma'am, it's so late in the night," the guard asked.

"I heard some noise coming from one of these rooms, so I came to check it out," Alma said.

"I'm not sure what you are talking about, I've been here for a while but I've heard nothing, maybe you just had a bad dream,’ the guard replied.

"I'm sure of what I heard so if you'll excuse me let me check these rooms," Alma said.
