Chapter 84

Ella cursed inwardly at Elise's fame and the attention she received from everyone. She was now on another level and Ella surely knew that she could no longer compete against her. Ella had to agree that she had lost to her, but she had to try and make a comeback, she remembered her father's proposition earlier on in the day.

As she waited for her food, Ella remembered Damien, though he told her not to look for him, she had to try, he might be her only ticket to fame. Though she had sworn never to use her body again, Damien was an exception, he had shown her a world she wasn't ready to forget, maybe she could prove to her family for the last time that she could do better on her own.

Ella made the call as her heart beat wildly as she anticipated his response, maybe he would lash out at her, but all these she would know after he talked to her.
