The Evaded kiss

Allen let Samantha's mother pull him into the house. He was grateful to her, for coming at the right time because he didn't want to leave. Her mother coming to pull him into the house was a perfect excuse. As he walked into the living room, Allen saw Samantha's father, and was shocked. He turned to look at Samantha and she shook her head. So this was the reason for her sadness. He knew it, he knew something definitely happened to her father. This didn't look like he just had dislocation, it was something more, and Allen felt sad for her. Her mother beckoned on Allen to have a seat. Allen took a seat, one that was very close to her father.

"Welcome to our humble abode, Allen. Let me get you something to drink" her mother said, before dashing off to the kitchen.
