The Missing Documents

Samantha was shocked at this revelation. She didn't know that she had sidelined Nancy before now. Could Nancy be saying the truth? could she have been putting her relationships before their friendship? Samantha didn't even know the answers to these questions herself. She stood up from the seat in front of the dresser and walked to Nancy. She sat down beside her.

"Nancy, this is the first time you are saying this to me. If I was putting my relationships before our friendship, you should have said something. I may not have known this, but I always did my best, to make sure that you didn't feel sidelined. This time around, I never sidelined you, Nancy. Allen found out about my father, on his own and that's nothing but the truth, believe me" Samantha said, as she reached out to take Nancy's hand.
