CHAPTER 26

Just before the store's door, wanting to ease my anxiety a little, I stood up and took a few deep breaths, which unfortunately brought almost no improvement in my condition. But I had to keep going. I wanted to do this. I finally wanted the situation to be clarified. I walked towards the entrance steps.

The closed-door did not allow me to see anything inside the supermarket. I went up the last step and heard the door opening. I looked up and saw Eric. But he wasn't Eric that I knew. This Eric had a face furious with rage. His eyes were burning. His movements were sharp and abrupt.
