"Um, Kolo..." Lizzie began hesitantly.

Bruno halted in his tracks, looking at her, "Since you seem to enjoy calling me Kolo, let's stick with that," he said, before continuing on his way.

Lizzie jerked her hand free of his grip, glaring at him, "I can walk by myself, and besides, I don't like calling you Kolo." He was a presumptuous man. It was as if every time he appeared, she was forced to swallow words she hadn't yet spoken.

"Lizzie, remember, in the Kolo household, you are Miss Kolo, a virtuous lady of good breeding. If my parents find out about your glaring and shouting, well, the consequences could be severe," Bruno murmured into her ear in a lowered voice.

Lizzie cast her gaze downward. His words held truth.

Bruno took Lizzie's hand once again, and this time, Lizzie did not resist.

In the dining room, Yelun and Flora were already seated at the table. Upon seeing Bruno and Lizzie approach, Yelun immediately called out, "Bruno, Lizzie, come sit."
