86: Stepping on Dog Poop

Lizzie remained silent, avoiding his deep and fiery gaze by keeping her eyes lowered, her soft white hand gently stroking Bob, the little white dog in her arms. Bruno extended his hand, squeezing her chin between his three fingers, forcing her to look into his eyes. "Why so silent?" he asked.

"And how will it matter if I talk or not? Or if I refuse? Will you let me be then?" A charming curve appeared on Lizzie’s lips as she blinked, her long curled eyelashes flashing enticingly.

Bruno was taken aback for a brief moment, before quickly reverting back to his usual cold demeanor. "Very well, good that you understand," he said. "Shall we leave now?"

His icy gaze raked over her, taking in her green chiffon dress, before releasing her chin. Lizzie bent down, gently placing the little dog on the fluffy carpet. "Be a good boy, Bob. Stay put until I come back."
