Chapter Forty-Six

The trip took about an hour and a half until a town called Kingston. I knew Liz was hungry, and she took us straight to a diner. It was a nice place, with black and white floors, cushions and chairs in bright red, and lots of writings and what I thought were pictures all over the walls. We sat in what she called a booth. I didn’t feel like eating anything, so Liz asked for some coffee for us, and eggs, bacon, and bread for her. She was hungry, since we had to flee without further notice.
