We all had our jobs to do and we did what we do best, divide and conquer. By noon we had the whole pack gathered behind the main packhouse. We left the children with trusted and loyal omegas in the territory packhouses. As a group we are standing on the back porch of the packhouse which is slightly elevated so the whole pack can see us. As I look around I know not everyone is gathered, but we can only do so much and I don’t want to compel people to show up. We will make note of who is missing and they will be the first on the list to be questioned or detained if something goes wrong. The former Lunas are already making mental notes of people they recognize as absent.

72 Damien The rumbling in the ground started with the growls from the other side of our outer barrier, but as the vibrations grew I knew something else was happening. “Fall back, something is coming from underground!” I shout through the mindlink. Damien We keep taking down these wolves, but they won’t stay down. Whatever is possessing them is making them less vulnerable to our fighters. Even the ones on fire only stop when they finally die from the flames. “They just keep coming.
