Chapter 41

When we arrived at Hacienda Seya, Eve immediately move her body trying to get off of me before we got out in Hiro’s car. She wanted to go to her father and Hiro seemed to notice that because he immediately came over and took Eve from me.

I just quietly followed them as he entered Luca's house who hadn't arrived yet. The two giggled ahead. Even my daughter was laughing while her dad was talking as if they understood each other. I was behind them and saw that they were so close.

I’m still sad that he didn’t remember me earlier. In fact, I almost cried at the way he talked to me. I was worried that he was probably in a coma. I was afraid he wouldn’t remember me. But despite all that, my longing for him still prevailed because even though we were far away from each other, he never disappeared from my system.

"Can I take my child?" I asked him when I saw us, entering Luca's house.
