Kingsley's POV

A knock on the door shattered my thoughts, and Jeremy's voice echoed, "Alpha Kingsley, Mrs. Wright has arrived with your lunch."

I paused briefly, then responded with a frigid tone, "Show her in."

Jeremy escorted her into the room, carefully placing her belongings on the desk before discreetly retreating, thoughtfully closing the door behind him.

Freya nervously clasped her hands, awkwardly rooted to the spot. I raised my gaze towards her.

The sun's rays streamed through the blinds, casting shifting shadows upon her face.

Why would she care if her father knew about it or angry as it was her private life? She was even desperate to help pass his gift to her mother in law when she was going to ask for divorce.. so ironic

Why is she being so dumb to delay announcing it. Her husband has another woman and her father doesn't care about her. The only person who cares is her friend Novia. She is totally dumb.
