Emily gulped down the water in her glass. She couldn't believe what she had just witnessed a few hours ago. It was already evening, and Emily still couldn't forget what had happened.

Stupidly, she did not record the incident as evidence.

Emily's body was still shaking violently. The glass in her hand almost fell, and when her eyes caught the figure of Jason standing not far from where Emily was, the drink fell on the floor along with Emily's scream.

"Shit! S-sorry, Jase, I was surprised to see you there. I thought you'd be home late again." Emily crouched down and picked up the broken glass carefully, although her hands were still shaking.

"Don't clean it like that; let me help. Don't hurt your hands again," Jason said as he brought a floor broom and started cleaning it slowly.

Meanwhile, Emily clutched her body and looked uneasy, walking to and fro.
