Marty and Christine shifted their focus to Cassie.
“I want you to marry my daddy, he is my daddy and not Uncle Graham.” Cassie said as tears unceasingly streamed down her cheeks.
Cassie had been listening to their conversation. She was afraid to butt in however when she heard her mom insist on marrying Graham, she couldn't resist the temptation to speak.
“Cassandra Martyna, stop whining!” It wasn’t said in a yell but her voice was firm and stern.
Marty looked at Christine upon hearing Cassie’s middle name. It fortified his confidence and he became even more determined to win her back.
Christine turned to Marty and said coldly, “Mr Jacobs, it’s now time for you to leave.”
