Chapter 23: Visiting Simon

One week later

“Mommy, you said yesterday we will visit Dad today,” paalala ni Nate kay Samantha habang nakabuntot ito sa kanya. 

She squatted down and ran her finger through Nate’s hair, “Yeah, we will do it later son. Dadaan lang muna tayo doon sa bahay ng Uncle Reymond mo, titingnan natin kung bumalik na ba siya,”

Nate pouted his lips, “We’ve been there several times since the last two months, but Uncle had left without leaving any message, why are we still going to recheck it?” 

“Anak, huwag kana magreklamo, dadaan lang naman tayo saglit baka kasi bumalik na siya eh. Here, change your clothes, we need to leave earlier because we will drop by at your Tita Ivana’s house after visiting your father,&rd
