These kinds of functions weren't always on the top of Wil's list of things he enjoyed. He would have much rather just given the money to the school and called it a day. Hell, they didn't even have to say it came from him. But they'd used his donation to earn more money for the department, so in the end he let them leak the information.

He'd been walking around talking to some of his old teachers when he noticed his brother talking to someone. She was beautiful, but that didn't surprise him. Trent was a good-looking guy. Ladies flocked to him.

"Excuse me," he said. And without waiting for an answer, he headed toward his brother and the mystery woman. Something seemed to be pulling him toward her for whatever reason.

"Who?" he heard his brother ask.

The look in her eyes was first shock and then confusion. Finally she looked as if something so terrible had happened to her, and she couldn't take it another minute.
