The great betrayal

The warehouse was dark and abandoned; Marco closed the door and dragged Elena to a cover of sacks on the far end. The hall had long square shaped pillars lined on two sides in the middle, there were a few sacks and cartons packed in it.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Leonardo will do things worse than death to you,” Elena mumbled as he made her hide behind the sacks at the far end of the hall. Their position gave them an advantage over the intruders.

“Just stay quiet and don’t do anything silly. Your boyfriend isn’t some god, and if he doesn’t stop coming after me, then I would just have to kill him.” Marco said in a cold voice.

Even though he sounded tough, and unwavering, Elena could sense the fear in him. He was about to go face to face with the god of guns, the serial assassin, Assassino Del Fratello himself. To make it worse, Leo also had Mateo with him.
