I paced around the room impatiently, tapping my fingers lightly on my phone as I waited for Alejandro to pick up the phone. I was getting a little frustrated and upset because I kept calling and calling and yet, he wasn't picking up the phone. I tried remaining calm but the fact that it wasn't picking up the phone was getting me even more upset than I already was and I just desperately needed him to pick up the phone so that my day isn't completely ruined.

I recalled that he had mentioned something about having an important meeting that was going to take quite a while but I was hoping that he would be done with his meeting by now because I needed to tell him that Alice was on her way to him and that he needed to find a way to get out of the office as soon as possible so that Alice's visit won't ruin our plans for the day.
